The Kettle Press is the primary blog of Hannah Quinn, an Australian writer of fiction and a writer on current affairs, especially politics. Mostly, I write novels but also plays. I’ve won several Awards for short stories and I’m an Expert Author on a variety of Article Sites.

My political leaning is left of centre. I strongly believe in the common good, social unity and equal opportunity for all. It is my belief that those who can, should; that skin colour is irrelevant; that creed is your own business as long as you don’t impose it on others or attempt to proselytize. I have no argument with you if you don’t agree with my politics or secular outlook, however, keep your comments logical, reasonable and fact based and respect my opinions as another outlook.

My tastes and interests are eclectic so you can expect a variety of subjects from my keyboard. Several social issues are priority, including social inclusion and feminist causes. To see more of my wide interests, feel free to visit my pinterest boards which are broad in diversity from craft to science, but not complete.

I am a proud and filled-with-love  mother of three and grandmother of four. I grew up in a bush town on the outer edge of Melbourne and I never feel as much at peace as I door in the bush, by a river and/or surrounded by animals – unless it is hugging one of my much loved family.

You’ll get to know me best by my writings.  I hope you will visit often and enjoy The Kettle Press.
